Stormwater flooding is the primary environmental issue in Rosemont. Considerable construction is planned for the next decade to move stormwater so it doesn’t flood our neighborhoods and cause sewage back-ups in our basements.

These are big, long-term projects that will be noisy and disruptive. We are working to keep you informed about their impact and how they contribute to a more flood-resilient Alexandria.
